The fuel filter element is used to remove the iron oxide and dust in the fuel, prevent the blockage of the fuel system, reduce mechanical wear and ensure the stable operation of the engine.
Generally, the replacement cycle of engine fuel filter element is 250 hours for the first time, and then every 500 hours. The replacement time shall be flexibly controlled according to different fuel quality levels.
When the filter element pressure gauge gives an alarm or indicates abnormal pressure, it is necessary to check whether the filter is abnormal. If so, it must be changed.
When the surface of the filter element is leaking or cracked, check whether the filter is abnormal. If so, replace it.
